About our sphere water features
A sphere water feature sends water through the centre of the ball and lets it run back over the outside surface into a concealed reservoir. The circular form looks balanced from every angle, which makes these features useful in open borders, gravel gardens and patios where more than one side is visible. This collection contains 18 designs from Eastern Connections, with nine available to buy now and nine unavailable models retained so you can compare the complete range.
The visible spheres measure 30cm to 80cm across. Compact 30cm and 40cm models suit smaller gardens, while the 50cm and 60cm spheres have more presence and need a wider reservoir. The 80cm corten steel design is the largest option. Materials include natural and tiled slate, polished or flamed granite, black limestone, rainbow sandstone, stainless steel and weathering corten steel. Stone colour and pattern will vary because each natural sphere is cut from natural material.
Every product shown includes the pump and reservoir needed to recirculate the water, so no permanent water connection is required. Selected slate and sandstone designs also include an LED light. Always check the individual product page before ordering: the reservoir can be wider than the sphere and must sit on a firm, level base with access to a suitable outdoor electrical supply.
Why we chose this range
“The useful difference between these spheres is not simply their colour. The surface changes the appearance of the water: polished granite gives a smoother flow, while slate, sandstone and flamed granite show more texture. We have kept the unavailable models on this page because they fill genuine gaps in size and material.”

Slate spheres
Natural or tiled slate has a layered surface that breaks up the water and catches the light. The 50cm and 60cm models include an LED, reservoir and support grid.
Granite and limestone
Choose polished granite or limestone for a smooth sheet of water. Flamed and rustic granite have more texture. Available sizes run from 35cm to 60cm.
Rainbow sandstone
Each sphere has its own bands of pink, amber and cream. Sizes run from 40cm to 60cm, including the out-of-stock XL model.
Stainless and corten steel
Polished stainless steel gives a clean, reflective finish. Corten develops a rust-coloured protective patina outdoors and comes in 40cm, 60cm and 80cm sizes.
Quick tip: Measure the reservoir, not only the sphere. Most 40cm spheres use a 55cm reservoir, while many 50cm and 60cm models need a 70cm footprint.
Installation tip: keep the pump accessible
Set the reservoir into a firm, level area and leave its access point clear beneath the decorative gravel. You will need to reach the pump for cleaning and winter care.

What should you budget?
In-stock sphere water features currently start at £479 for the 50cm Slate Sphere and reach £1,199 for the 60cm Pink Polished Granite Sphere. Price is affected by material, diameter and the amount of stone used. A smaller polished stone sphere is not automatically cheaper than a larger steel one. Compare the included equipment as well as the headline size; every model here includes a pump and reservoir, while only selected products include lighting and a support grid.
