Nine modern stone pieces went out in the twelve months to June 2026. The basalt slab led with six, and half its buyers never run the water, which tells you it works as pure standing stone. The George figure took two. Twenty-seven pieces are in stock, £175 to £1,199. One placement rule covers this whole range: modern stone needs a calm backdrop. Rendered wall, hedge, slate chippings. Against a busy border the lines that justify the price disappear.
Clean lines and abstract or simplified forms. Basalt columns, polished spheres and stylised figures like Henry and George, rather than classical goddesses and cherubs.
The range runs £175 to £1,199. The Henry art statue starts at £175, the best-selling basalt slab is £549, and the pink granite sphere tops out at £1,199.
The basalt and sphere pieces work switched off. Many buyers run water in summer only and leave the stone standing dry through winter, which also protects the pump.
Polished granite holds its shine for decades. It is one of the hardest garden materials. A rinse and a soft cloth twice a year removes water marks, and frost does not dull it.
