A pop-up gazebo is light by design, so it must be weighted at every leg. Use proper gazebo leg weights or fill base weights, not a couple of plant pots. On grass, ground pegs and guy ropes add security. The golden rule is simple: take the canopy down before a storm and never leave a pop-up gazebo up unattended in high winds.
