This wishing well fountain draws attention the moment you set it down. Water flows from the upper bucket into the lower one, then cascades gently into the stone-effect base below.
We install water features regularly, and the first thing we check is material quality. This one uses glassfibre reinforced concrete with a hand-finished antiqued stone surface. It handles frost, rain and UV year after year without cracking or fading.
The solar panel charges the internal battery in around four hours of direct sunlight. Once charged, the pump runs for 4-6 hours even after the sun goes down. A built-in LED picks up where daylight leaves off, casting a warm glow across the falling water.
At £229, you get a complete fountain that needs no electrician and no plumber. Place it on a level surface, fill the reservoir with water, and switch it on. The whole setup takes under five minutes.
Measuring 300mm wide by 280mm deep and standing 590mm tall, it tucks neatly into a border or courtyard corner. At 15.4kg it stays put in the wind but is light enough for one person to position.
