About our stone garden ornaments
Why we chose this range
"We stock solid cast stone, not hollow resin. The reason is longevity. In UK weather, lightweight resin pieces crack or blow over in winter winds. The British-made cast stone here is heavy enough to sit on a plinth without anchoring, and it improves as it weathers. After two winters in the garden the surface gathers moss and lichen, and starts to look as though it has always been there."
Matt, Lead BuyerThis collection covers 100+ pieces of solid cast stone, from small accent ornaments to 1m+ statues and water features. The hand-finished detail comes from the Dragonstone and Onefold workshops in the West Midlands and Yorkshire.
The range covers Stone Garden Statues for classical settings, Japanese Garden Ornaments for Zen corners, Stone Bird Baths and Stone Planters for working areas, and large statement pieces for driveways and lawns. Every piece is made in Britain and carries our 5-year frost guarantee.
Choosing your stone garden ornament
Positioning heavy stone
Stone is heavy. A standard bird bath can weigh over 50kg. Do not place pieces directly on soil or grass.
The weight sinks the ornament unevenly over a winter or two, which can cause leaning or cracking stress. Dig out a small square and lay a single paving slab on a compacted sand bed as a level footing. This keeps the warranty valid and the piece stable.
Price and quality
Prices run from £49 for small accent pieces to £1,199 for the largest statues and fountains. Most mid-size statues sit between £150 and £400. Cast stone weathers. Within a year or two the surface picks up moss and lichen and the colour softens. That is what plastic and metal cannot do, and it is the main reason the older pieces in customers' gardens often look the best. Frequently asked questions
Yes. The reconstituted stone is dense and non-porous once cured, so water cannot soak in and freeze-crack the surface. We back every piece with a 5-year frost guarantee tested to -20°C.

Heavy. Small accent pieces weigh 5-10kg. A bird bath sits around 50kg. Stone garden benches and large statues run from 100kg to 180kg, so plan on two people to lift and position them.
For most pieces, no. The weight holds them in place. For tall narrow items like obelisks or statues on plinths in exposed spots, use a bead of clear outdoor adhesive between the piece and its base.
Use a stiff brush and warm soapy water once or twice a year. Avoid pressure washers above 1,000 PSI as they pit the cast stone surface. Most customers leave the moss and lichen alone after the first year, since the patina is the point.
Smaller pieces ship via standard courier. Items over 30kg and pallet-friendly orders go on a dedicated pallet service direct to your driveway. Free UK delivery on orders over £50.
