The Rustic Stone Garden Trough is a hand-finished cast stone planter priced at £329. At nearly a metre long and weighing 120kg, it sits firmly in any garden setting without risk of toppling.
Each trough is cast from reconstituted stone with a natural dimpled texture on the outer surface. This rough finish encourages moss and lichen to take hold quickly. Within a few months outdoors, the trough develops a genuinely aged appearance.
The generous planting area measures 850mm long by 280mm wide and 220mm deep. That gives enough soil depth for herbs, trailing plants, or seasonal bedding displays. The trough also works well as a decorative water feature when fitted with a simple pump.
Choose between two colour options. Aged Cotswold gives a warm, honey-toned finish typical of traditional English stone. Burnt Umber offers a deeper, richer tone that suits more contemporary garden schemes.
At 120kg, this is a substantial piece. We recommend positioning it before planting. Once filled with compost and plants, moving it becomes impractical without lifting equipment.
