Each millstone is carved from genuine rainbow sandstone with unique natural veining. When water flows over the surface, the colours shift and deepen. Dry, it sits as a warm-toned stone disc. Wet, it reveals bands of copper, amber, and rose that no two pieces share.

The 200mm high plinth raises the millstone off the ground. This adds height for better visibility and amplifies the sound of water cascading across the stone face. The effect is a gentle, continuous trickle rather than a flat splash.
