The Macabre Stone Garden Statue stands 93cm tall and depicts the Grim Reaper in real detail. At £395, it makes a striking centrepiece for gothic and unusual garden displays.
Each statue is hand-cast from solid stone using traditional moulding. The process picks up fine work in the robes, scythe and skeletal features. Cast stone weathers well outdoors. Within a year or two the surface gathers moss and lichen, which gives the piece an authentically aged look.
This is a heavyweight piece at 160kg. Once positioned, it stays put through every UK season. The dense stone shrugs off frost, rain and UV without needing any sealant or coating.
Choose between two finishes. Aged Cotswold gives a warm traditional limestone look. Burnt Umber is darker and more dramatic. Both age gracefully outdoors and look better at year five than at year one.
At nearly a metre tall, this statue carries large gardens well. Position it among mature planting, at the end of a path, or in a shaded corner where the silhouette reads against background greenery.
