The Grand Victorian Stone Garden Tazza is a handcrafted cast stone urn with a broad, deep bowl measuring 950mm across. It stands 580mm tall and weighs 120kg. This is a statement piece built to anchor a formal garden for generations.

Cast from reconstituted stone, the Grand Victorian Tazza arrives with an aged, weathered finish straight from the workshop. The surface texture encourages natural moss and lichen growth within months of placement. Over time, it develops a patina that blends into established planting schemes.

The wide bowl provides a planting area of 790mm x 250mm deep. That is enough room for trailing ivy, box topiary, or generous seasonal displays. The tazza works as a centrepiece on a stone plinth, a patio focal point, or a freestanding feature on gravel.

Intricate Victorian detailing covers the bowl and stem. The cast stone process captures fine scrollwork and fluting that would take weeks to carve by hand. Every piece is individually finished at the Lucas Stone workshop.

Available in two colours: Aged Cotswold (a warm, honey-toned stone) and Burnt Umber (a richer, darker finish). Both suit period properties, walled gardens, and formal planting schemes.

At 120kg, this is one of the heaviest tazzas in our range. It will not shift in storms or topple in exposed positions. The weight also provides practical security for front garden and driveway displays.

Frequently asked questions

Can I plant directly into the Grand Victorian Tazza?

Yes, the bowl has a 790mm x 250mm deep planting area. Add crocks or gravel to the base for drainage before filling with compost. Trailing plants, box balls, and seasonal bedding all work well in a tazza this size.

Does the Grand Victorian Tazza include a plinth?

No, the plinth is not included with this tazza. It can stand directly on any flat surface or be raised on a separate stone pedestal for added height and presence.

Will the cast stone crack in frost?

Cast stone is frost resistant when properly drained. Ensure water can escape the bowl during winter. Standing water that freezes and expands is the main risk to any stone planter.

How heavy is the Grand Victorian Tazza?

It weighs 120kg, making it one of the heaviest tazzas we sell. Two people and a sack barrow are needed for positioning. The weight ensures stability and deters theft.
