The Egyptian Tomb Dog is a 720mm tall handcrafted stone statue inspired by ancient Egyptian guardian figures. Weighing 27kg, it stands firmly in place on any level surface.
Each statue is individually cast from reconstituted stone at the Lucas Stone workshop in the UK. Traditional moulding techniques produce crisp detailing across the Egyptian-style collar, headdress, and seated pose.
The textured stone surface weathers naturally outdoors. Moss and lichen colonise the surface within months, giving the statue an authentically aged look that suits established gardens.
Available in Aged Cotswold or Burnt Umber finishes. Both colours work well against brick walls, stone patios, and planted borders. The 250mm x 230mm base footprint keeps the statue compact enough for doorsteps, porches, and gateposts.
At 720mm tall, this tomb dog has real presence as a standalone feature or paired as a matching set flanking an entrance. The seated upright pose echoes the guardian dogs found in ancient Egyptian temple architecture.
