One griffin, no apologies. The Heraldic Griffin is a big cast stone guardian at £675, and stocking one excellent griffin beats stocking five average ones. It did not sell in the year to June 2026; pieces like this wait for the right gatepost. If that is yours, buy it as a pair only if your entrance is grand enough to carry two. A single griffin on one pier, gaze angled down the drive, is the stronger look for most homes.
A mythical guardian, half eagle and half lion. Eagle head and wings on a lion's body. Heraldry used griffins to mark courage and watchfulness, which is why they suit entrances.
