Thirteen mains-powered pumps and pump accessories, £49 to £219. Mains gives steady, weather-proof flow, which is why every display feature we run uses one. The single solar alternative is under solar pumps, and the full plumbing kit list is on water feature pumps.
Three sizes cover almost every feature we sell.

Matt's note, June 2026
Mains beats solar for one reason: it does not care about the weather. Every fountain we demonstrate runs on a mains pump, and the 1,100 lph size drives most of them. Thirteen pump lines are in stock from £49. Installation advice that saves a call later: run the cable through a length of old hosepipe where it crosses soil. It costs nothing and stops a garden fork ending the pump, which is the most common death we hear about.
Steady flow in all weather. A mains pump delivers the same output at midnight in December as midday in June. Solar drops to a trickle under cloud.
From £49 to £219 across thirteen lines. The popular 1,100 lph size is £49, and larger or lit models step up from there.
For a new outdoor socket, yes. The pumps themselves plug in with a standard weatherproof connector. An RCD-protected outdoor socket is the safe foundation for any water feature.
Five years and more with basic care. Rinse the impeller every few months, keep the intake clear of pebbles, and store the pump indoors over winter.
