Product Details
This Sitting Buddha Statue depicts Budai, the 10th-century Chinese monk said to bring good fortune. Standing 55cm high and weighing 27kg, it makes a striking focal point in any garden.
Each statue is individually hand-cast from reconstituted stone. The casting process captures fine detail in the robes, expression, and posture. Straight from the mould, the surface has a naturally aged appearance that blends into established garden settings.
The porous stone surface encourages moss and lichen to colonise within months. Over a single season, the statue develops a weathered patina that looks as though it has sat in place for decades.
Choose between two colour options. Aged Cotswold gives a warm, honey-toned finish that suits traditional cottage gardens. Burnt Umber offers a deeper, earthier tone ideal for woodland or oriental-themed spaces.
At 270mm deep and 270mm wide, the statue fits comfortably on a patio, beside a pond, or tucked among border planting. The 27kg weight keeps it firmly anchored without any fixing.
Please note: Does not include plinth.
