The Snail Stone Garden Statue captures the distinctive spiral shell pattern of a garden snail in solid cast stone. At 170mm high and weighing 10kg, this is a solid, weighty ornament that sits firmly in borders, rockeries, or beside pathways.
Each statue is hand-finished by Lucas Stone craftsmen using a traditional casting process. The cast stone surface arrives with a naturally aged appearance. Over the following months, real moss and lichen gradually colonise the textured shell and body. This gives the snail an increasingly authentic look that blends into established planting schemes.
Two colour options are available. Aged Cotswold offers a warm, honey-toned finish that suits traditional cottage gardens. Burnt Umber provides a deeper, earthier tone that works well against dark foliage or slate chippings. Both finishes are UV-stable and will not flake or fade.
At 170mm in each dimension, the snail is compact enough for small gardens, balcony planters, or windowsill displays. The 10kg weight means it will not topple in wind or get knocked over by pets. Place it among hostas or ferns for a natural woodland effect, or set it on a stone wall as a standalone feature.
