Handcrafted from cast stone by Lucas Stone, this gargoyle captures the classic grotesque figures found perched on medieval cathedrals and Gothic buildings. The casting process reproduces fine detail in the wings, claws and facial features. Each piece leaves the workshop with a weathered surface that looks decades old.

Moss and lichen colonise the porous stone surface quickly. Within a single growing season, the gargoyle blends into an established garden as though it has always been there. The stone develops a deeper patina with each passing year.

Choose between Aged Cotswold (a warm honey tone) or Burnt Umber (a deep terracotta brown). Both finishes are UV-stable and will not flake or peel in rain, frost or direct sun.

At 84kg, this statue stays firmly in place without any fixing or anchoring. Position it on a stone wall, beside a doorway or at the end of a garden path. The compact 280mm x 280mm base fits on most wall tops, pillars and plinths.
