Babbling Basalt Column Water Feature

The Babbling Basalt Column Water Feature is hand-carved from solid basalt, one of the hardest natural stones available. A polished black dished top forms a shallow header pool. Water plumes upward, then cascades gently down the column's natural grey surface.

Every column is unique. Natural variations in the basalt grain mean no two pieces look identical. The dark, textured finish complements both modern patios and traditional cottage gardens. At 450mm wide and 400mm deep, it fits comfortably in smaller garden spaces or courtyard settings.

Setup is straightforward. The kit includes a 670mm diameter reservoir, submersible pump, and integrated LED lighting. Position the reservoir, place the grid on top, set the column, and connect the pump. Most installations take under an hour with no specialist tools required.

Basalt is naturally frost-resistant and requires minimal upkeep. An occasional rinse and periodic pump clean is all that's needed to keep the water flowing year after year.
